Join HyNet projects and contractors to hear about opportunities for the supply chain.
Spanning North Wales and the North West, HyNet is the most advanced industrial decarbonisation cluster in the country. Three projects, worth well over £3bn in total, are currently under construction, with more advancing towards execution every day. HyNet is enabling a cleaner industrial future for the region, using carbon capture and hydrogen technology to cut emissions in industries from cement to power, whilst securing thousands of jobs.
The Summit will feature Heidelberg Materials' Padeswood CCS and Encyclis' Protos Energy Recovery Facility Capture Plant. These two projects are currently in delivery, paving the way for those that follow.
Uniper's Connah Quay Low Carbon Power, a large gas-carbon capture power station, and Evero's InBECCS, retrofitting a carbon capture plant to an existing waste wood facility will also be featured, alongside Viridor's Runcorn project, with further to be announced.
The event is being staged at the University of Wrexham thanks to the generous support of Welsh Government and North Sea Transition Authority. The Summit will feature an exhibition area, project and supplier presentations, plus a long networking lunch. Travel by train to Wrexham General Railway Station is strongly encouraged, which is just 500m from the venue.
